    6 Eligibility Criteria
    • Applicant must be of Charmakar Community only.
    • Age Limit should be in between 18 to 50 years
    • For 50% Subsidy Scheme and Margin Money, Annual Income of the applicants must be below poverty line and for NSFDC Scheme, income for Rural area should be below 98,000/- and for Urban Rs.1,20,000/-.
    • Applicants must be permanent resident of Maharashtra State.
    • He must produce the Income and Caste Certificate of Authorised Govt.Officer.
    • Applicant must have a knowledge of the business for which he has applied for loan.

    8 Benefits Provided NSFDC, New Delhi has implemented EDUCTION LOAN scheme from 2009. Under this scheme, Eduction Loan up to Rs.10 ,00,000/-finance is provided for post graduate students in India and Rs. 20,00,000/- in abroad. Rate of interest is 4%p.a. for male & 3.5%p.a. for female beneficiary.

    8 Benefits Provided Training Scheme is implemented for the students to enable them to start their own business, trade or to get a job. training is given under this scheme in various trades such as Motor Driving, T.V./Video/Radio Repairing, Tailoring, Welding etc. for a period upto six months. Stipend and tution fees are also paid by the Corporation to the training institute.

The selected candidates are provided training with free lodging and boarding facility, License Fees etc.

The Head-Master of the concerned school should submit the list of VJNT and SBC girl students to concerned District Social Welfare Officer, Zillah Parishad of concerned district for sanction of this scholarship.

    4 Scheme Objective The State Government has introduced in 2003-04 the scheme to create self-employment for unemployed youths and students of VJNT and SBC who apply for a Vocational Training. He will be given the Vocational Training in Government I.T.I and undergo short duration vocational training courses. The short duration vocational courses will enable the youths to create their own employment in service sector.

    8 Benefits Provided The training fees Rs.400/- to Rs.2400/- (as per course) is paid to concerned I.T.I. After completion of training, one Tool Kit of Rs.1000/- is provided to trainee through concerned Govt. I.T.I.

    • The entire expenditure on lodging, boarding, clothing, uniform, horse riding, pocket money, tuition fees and examination fees is reimbursed to the students admitted in old three Sainik Schools e.g. Satara, Pune and Nashik.
    • For the remaining Sainik Schools maintenance allowance of Rs.15,000/- is reimbursed to per student for a year.

    • Professional courses are divided into A,B,C category and accordingly maintenance allowance is given to the students through the concerned Principal of the college.
    • For 4 to 5 years course (Medical, Engineering, Agriculture etc.) Rs. 700/- per month, for 2 to 3 years course (Engineering Dip., M.B.A, M.S.W etc.) Rs. 500/- and for 2 years and lesser duration courses (B.Ed., D.Ed.) Rs. 500/- per month for 10 months as maintenance allowance in addition to other Government Scholarships.

    • Project cost up to Rs.5.00 lakh i.e. Rs.1.25 lakh p.a. Loan Amount is sanctioned considering the Tuition Fee of the Students and availability of the fund for this scheme.
    • Central Corporation's Share - 90%. State Corporation's Share - 5%, Beneficiaries Share - 5%,
    • Rate of Interest 4% p.a., 3.5% p.a. for female students.
    • Repayment - 6 months after completion of education in 5 yrs.
    • Loan amount is deposited in Beneficiaries Bank's Account.

    4 Scheme Objective For educational and social development of VJNT students Govt. vide G.R. dated 26/6/2008 has started (11th and 12th class) Junior College education by upgrading the 148 secondary Ashram Schools in existence. Free lodging and boarding facilities along with necessary educational goods, stationary is being provided as per norms.

    • There should not be more Junior Colleges around the Ashram School.
    • There should not be any dispute / Court matter against the Voluntary Agency.

    4 Scheme Objective As a special measure for providing educational facilities to the pupils belonging to Vimukta Jatis and Nomadic Tribes, Government has encouraged the establishment of Ashram Schools with residential facilities to the children since 1954 through recognized NGO’s. Permission to open Ashram Schools is granted to such voluntary agencies which show interest in conducting schools for Vimukta Jatis / Nomadic Tribes etc., and are prepared to maintain the Ashram School as per terms and conditions prescribed by Government.

    9 Application Process
    • Scheme is online.
    • Student should go to https:\\mahaeschol.maharashtra.gov.in and fill the Scholarship application form, upload documents and submit it to concerned college. After scrutiny concerned college should forward his application to concerned Asstt. Comm. Social Welfare for sanction.
    • Online application is to be filled for the first year of that course only. From 2nd year to completion of course, application is renewed by concerned college and forwarded to concerned Asstt. Comm. Social Welfare for sanction.
